1 c. sugar
1 c. cream
2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt 1 cup sugar in a heavy saucepan.  Add in cream.  Cook together until it blends real well.  Add the 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of milk.  Cook and stir until it reaches the hard ball stage.  Let the mixture cool and add vanilla.  Beat until it stands up.  Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper or cookie sheet.
**Be sure to keep a close eye on the sugar while it is in the pan so that it doesn't burn!
